XGVela Project Archive

• A verbal vote was cast an the TAC has agreed to archive the XGVela project for inactivity.

• Vote to Archive project took place via chat, vote passes. XGVela is Archived.

Convert 5G SBP TAC seat to AI seat

• Language of AI seat proposal discussed.

• Seat is bound to the lifecycle/lifetime of the AI taskforce. Will re-assess if it comes to pass that the AI taskforce ceases to exist in addition to the annual review.

• What are the skills needed for the seat? Proposal to set the bar low to encourage candidates to step forward.

Security Seat

• Amy has conflict with other project commitments.

• Nomination phase to start 10/16. 2 week duration.

5G SBP seat

• Proposal to postpone 5G SBP seat election until January 2025 (after the holidays, and after 5G SBP induction review). The TAC agrees to postpone.

• Muddasar is OK to continue until the election.

Quality & Security Goals

• There was a discussion about the tools and goals for meeting our LFN objectives.

  • Olaf shared the Quality and Security Review Matrix

  • Gergely discussed the poor quality of the Insights platform and the desire for V1 to come back.

    • Casey mentioned that a new team is working on Insights. Although they may not be able to bring back V1, the new leadership promised Casey in a recent meeting that they would achieve feature parity with V1.

    • Cleaning up LFN data has been prioritized.
