Meeting Notes

We had a shorter meeting today. Mostly gave an informational walk thru on the Agenda items updates recorded above.

Andrew from Red Hat did indicate he would go back again and check on an executive interview candidate to see if they could provide a perspective.

Andrew also pointed their recent blog post announcing a partnership between Red Hat and Intel, leveraging initial methodology and tools developed within OPNFV, and discussed for adoption in Common NFVi Telco Taskforce (CNTT), to create a cloud-based onboarding service in a lab testbed supporting both VNF and CNF environments.

The details are here: https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/cnf-and-vnf-certification-red-hat-and-intel?source=searchresultlisting

We discussed the original notion of a Press Release for Baldy. Given that Baldy release may be pushed back to allow more time to complete some deliverables, and the lack of a ONES event, we may forego a press release for now.

Brandon Wick of LFN did not however that LF is doing some press release around the timing of the original event anyways and we could potentially piggy back on this. Other ideas shared where Blogs discussing progress on RI and RC work.

We discussed the need to nail down an outline for the late April Virtual FTF MMA session which is a 2 hour Zoom session. Need to sketch out an Agenda for what we would like to accomplish for that session. Let' splease all bring ideas to the coming MMA meetings to brainstorm and solidify topics.

It was noted that we need to plan for copious note taker and moderator role assignments and someone to monitor Action Items.

Bob mentioned that he had created an Artifacts page on the MMA main wiki but needed help to post the Template Welcome Letter. had some strange behavior and Beth Cohen offered to post it there.

speedwyre bid farewell to the group as he moves on to a new role and will no longer have CNTT responsibility. We was roundly lauded for his contributions and will be missed. Thanks, Jonathan!!
