Agenda
The project's Antitrust Policy is linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important when multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review it, and if you have any questions, please contact your company's legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

AI projects
Various open source AI projects [Essedum (Infosys), Salus, AGNTCY(Cisco, Dell, Google, RedHat, Oracle), A2A (Google), BeeAI (IBM) vllm (under PyTorch, by Red Hat) etc] getting donated to LF, LFAI and LFN (Essedum shown only for the moment), how can inter/intra-collaborations look like and what should be the direction (in order to assign & use limited resources effectively) for TACs?
Essedum: Federated learning, integration of agents. Discuss in upcoming Essedum TSC meeting.
Consolidation from LF will probably not happen(!), from LFN perspective discussions can be held in TAC and project meetings.
share use case: e.g ONAP, Nephio; get an overview of protocols, architectures etc to have a kind of forum (start small and pragmatic). @Byung-Woo Jun offered to inform TAC once Nephio and ONAP use cases can be shared.
Developer meetings
Nephio is planning to have a developer day
Observability working group
got slowed down due to vacation period
planned to start early Sept (landing page https://lf-networking.atlassian.net/wiki/x/JwD5H )
reach out to Cilium (eBPF): Hubble observability using eBPF → input for best practices
Regulation
open source maintainers started to see requests on a security assessment from companies using open source in their products (as part of regulatory due diligence)
Example: https://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2025/07/11/cybersecurity-risk-assessment-request/
OpenSSF is working on guidelines to help projects handle these requests:https://github.com/ossf/wg-globalcyberpolicy/issues/69 , currently specific to EU CRA but could be generalized to other regulatory requests
These requests might happen more frequently now as companies start to prepare for regulatory compliance e.g. with EU CRA
