Short Biography:
I am a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon with over 20 years of experience solving complex networking challenges across the industry. I hold two Master's degrees — one in Computer Networks from Marmara University (Turkey) and another in Machine Learning from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) — and I am currently pursuing a PhD focused on managing terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks using AI.
I am a long-standing contributor to the open source networking ecosystem, with contributions to major projects including ONOS, OpenDaylight, and Cilium. Most recently, together with fellow open source enthusiasts, I co-founded Agent Exchange (AEX), an open source project that enables AI agents to discover, negotiate, and collaborate with each other through a marketplace-style broker — bringing transparency, trust scoring, and standardized protocols to multi-agent systems.
With deep expertise spanning both traditional networking and modern AI, I am passionate about driving open, community-led innovation at the intersection of these fields.
Statement of Intent:
I am running for the AI Seat because I believe the convergence of networking and AI is a fundamental shift in how networks will be designed, operated, and evolved. My background in both networking and open source positions me to identify practical opportunities where AI can enhance existing LFN projects and help project TSCs adopt AI technologies effectively. I will actively scan AI initiatives within LFN, LF AI & Data projects, adjacent open source communities, and the broader industry to provide actionable recommendations to the TAC. I am committed to serving as an active bridge between the TAC and the AI Task Force, and to providing informed, practical subject matter expertise grounded in both theory and real-world implementation. I would be honored to contribute to LFN's mission as AI SME.
