Governance

Governance

LFN Super Blueprints governance is defined by the project's Technical Charter, hosted in the project repository. The Technical Steering Committee (TSC) is the top decision-making body for the project.

Decision Making

  • Rough consensus and running code — it is more important to demonstrate that things work than to be ideologically pure.

  • Do-acracy — people who care about a use case bring to the table people and resources to get things done.

  • Formal votes require a majority of TSC members. A motion may be raised during any regularly scheduled TSC meeting.

Project Roles

  • How people come to fill project roles: Community nomination or self-nomination followed by TSC vote.

  • How people are removed from project roles: Community nomination or self-nomination followed by TSC vote.

  • How disputes are definitively resolved: Majority TSC vote.

  • How governance evolves over time: The community can raise motions to evolve governance and the TSC will vote on the motion. If approved, governance documentation is updated.
