Overview
LFN-Level Badges are awarded annually in the first quarter to honor the prior year's leaders, mentors, and mentees for their exceptional contributions to the LFN community. Do you have a suggestion for a different badge or award, please propose that to the TAC at lfn-tac@lists.lfnetworking.org
LFN Leader Badge
Criteria: Active leadership within LFN, exemplified by participation in key LFN committees such as TAC, MAC, SPC, and LFN Governing Board, or involvement in significant cross-community initiatives like Super Blueprints.
Skills Demonstrated: Open Source Expertise; Networking Proficiency; Leadership
Badge Type: Leadership
How to Earn: Membership in any key LFN committee or active participation in recognized cross-community efforts.
LFN Mentee Badge
Criteria: Successful completion of a project within the LFN Mentorship Program, which offers structured learning experiences for new developers.
Skills Demonstrated: Open Source Expertise; Networking
Badge Type: Leadership
How to Earn: Successfully complete an LFN Mentorship Project.
LFN Mentor Badge
Criteria: Committed mentorship of one or more new developers through the LFN Mentorship Program.

Badge Type: Participant
How to Earn: Propose and complete an LFN Mentorship Project as a mentor.
Project-Level Badges
Overview
Project-Level Badges are issued based on data from LFX Insights. Most badges are awarded automatically, except for certain categories like Leadership and Ambassador badges. Do you have a suggestion for a different badge or award, please propose that to your project TSC mailing list and the TAC.

Criteria: Active contribution to [Project] within the past year, which could include code commits, documentation, testing, or other contributions as determined by the TSC.

How to Earn: Twenty or more contributions in various categories, as measured by LFX Insights, within the last year.
