Agenda

  • Start the Recording

  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

  • Roll Call

  • Action Items Review

  • Agenda Bashing

  • General Topics

    • Developer & Testing Form recap

    • Event Planning

    • LFN Badging Program Update

  • Any Other Topics

Minutes

Developer & Testing

  • Total registrants was 392.

  • Total Attendees 525.

  • @Ed Warnicke suggested that it was important that we upload more sessions to YouTube where the metrics can be tracked.

    • General agreement that we need to have more sessions on YouTube and metrics for recorded sessions.

Event Planning

  • Do we want to have an additional virtual event before our June in-person event?

    • What would be the scope?

    • How many days? Maybe 2 at most.

    • Not necessarily about the projects, but rather cross-community collaboration topics.

      • eg. 5G SBP, Anuket Assured, Magma

    • Sounds like there may be interest for 1 or 2 days to target some specific follow sessions to community topics like 5G SBP.

      • Community leaders will collect feedback and provide it to the TCAs by next week.

LFN Badging Program Update

  • Pilot Program roll out to Anuket Ambassadors complete (distro via Credly)

  • LFN Badge roll-out underway:

    • Categories: Leader, Mentor, Mentee

    • Badge designs complete

    • LFN Leaders (per the wiki doc) are: "Members of Linux Foundation Networking TAC, MAC, SPC, Governing Board, or other cross-community efforts as determined by the TAC."

    • Expect to see an email from Credly coming your way (note: Credly account signup is needed for automated distribution (LinkedIn, etc.)

  • LF Project Badging Programs to be raised on respective TSCs

    • Badge Designs

    • Initial rollout (low volume categories)

    • Secondary roll up (high volume categories)

  • LF Products Team Automation

    • Underway

    • Will save time for high-volume distributions
