Agenda

  • Start the Recording

  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

Code Management

  • @Al Morton Is there any restrictions on subprojects using different tooling for code management?

  • @FREEMAN, BRIAN D Agree that the TSC is accountable for Project & sub-project decisions

  • @Ed Warnicke Also agree that the TSC is accountable. - The FD.io TSC cannot - by design - force a sub project to do something

  • @Robert Varga TAC makes a recommendation, but Projects don't need to follow it.

  • @Ranny Haiby TAC makes recommendations only - Project TSC's are responsible for making the decision on the tools.

  • @Cédric Ollivier The decision should go down to the subprojects.

  •  #agreed the TAC will help with recommendations to a Project, ultimately it is the Project TSC which makes the decisions for the Project.  TAC encourages project communities to collaboratively work out differences within the project before resorting to charter enforcement

TAC Composition and Goals

Upcoming Events

  • 2022 LFN DTF Workshop April

    • Narrowly focused on cross collaboration follow-ups from January

  • 2022 LFN Developer & Testing Forum June

    • - Registration is necessary -  MUST HAVE for in person attendance

    • Event will be focused on in-person attendees

    • Remote attendance will be accommodated on a best effort basis as has been the case in the past

    • Remote presenters will NOT be accommodated - Submitting a session proposal should be an acknowledgement that the person will be physically attending.
