The session will focus on the presentation of the latest status of CNFO implementation in ONAP with the aim to show different operation scenarios where particular available CNFO features may be used. In the end, you should have a better understanding of how ONAP and CNFO can be used for that purpose.

Topic Overview

The Jakarta release brings further enhancements to CNF ORchestration. This time the session will not focus on the demo of the functionality or the description of the changes introduced in the Jakarta release. Instead, we will try to present different orchestration scenarios and the CNF Orchestration process, in general, to understand how the overall mechanism can be adopted for various CNF orchestration scenarios. How to start the development of your own CNF onboarding package? How to deploy CNFs in order or synchronize their deployment? How to perform Day 2 operations on CNF? How to migrate CNF into another cluster or k8s namespace? How to upgrade or scale CNF? How to fetch information about the CNF's deployed resources? This and a few other examples should show a variety of available already functions of CNFO.
