Committer Representative to the GB

  • call for nomination has been distributed

    • All qualified candidates have been notified by email

    • TAC meeting Sept 11 has definition for "active contributor"

  • #AGREED that active contributor clarification is added specific for the purposes of the 2020 election. The definition is "anyone that has made a code contribution to any LFN project in the past 12 months".

Coverity Integration

  • ONAP seeking to learn from FD.io experiences

  • FD.io using Coverity Free Scan - when it works, it's awesome

    • Albeit unreliable - outages measured in months

  • FD.io: Can LFN acquire a paid version of Coverity that could be used by multiple communities that is more reliable? @Ed Warnicke

  • Perhaps look at multiple language-specific static analysis tools

    • Coverity does offer multi-language support - unsure the relative quality

  • Next steps:  Pawel to reach out to Ed offline and explore more

ONES Planning

  • No plans to cancel ONES-NA due to COVID-19 at this stage - go/no_go decision planned for mid-March

  • 2020 ONES:NA Unconference Topic Proposals

  • Post ONES-NA- Community Technical Meetings April 22 & 23 LFN Technical Meetings following ONES:NA 2020

  • @cl664y@att.com suggests for Seoul DDF, we should explore virtual event for June

  • Is the preference to use the Sched app for unconference and/or technical meetings?

    • @VM (Vicky) Brasseur these sessions are always in flux recommending a single link in sched that points to the wiki

    • Will revisit in a future agenda

  • @Abhijit K @Ed Warnicke  need to ensure that there is a method for a direct link to a particular session regardless of the model used.
