@Lincoln Lavoie | InterOperability Laboratory, UNH | @Lincoln Lavoie | I have been involved with the LFN OVP badge development since its inception as part of the OPNFV project. I have served as the CVC Chair for the past two years, as we have grown the programs for the NFVI only badge to the both the NFVI and VNF badges. In the coming year, CVC will need to oversee the inclusion of CNTT requirements in the badging programs, while accounting for the future Cloud Native world, with well organized leadership to bring those two worlds together as a holistic set of badges through the LFN OVP programs. | Y

@Marc Price | Matrixx | @Olivier Smith | Marc Price, CTO of MATRIXX Software, is a recognized telecommunications expert having held pivotal roles in the establishment of competitive carriers, the real-time charging model, digital transformation, and most recently the shift to cloud native practices for 5G. For almost thirty years, Marc has helped drive industry-changing technology into the market while helping some of the largest service providers achieve business success. In his current role, Marc spearheads MATRIXX’s strategic technology direction and engagement across a broad landscape of customers, partners, standards bodies, and community forums. In addition, Marc is a sought-after speaker for various worldwide conferences including MWC, Big 5G, 5G Asia and FutureCom. He is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a regular contributor to the Forbes Technology column. Marc has also published a number of articles in leading telecoms industry publications. With the arrival of 5G, the telecom industry is now embarking on the most significant technology and architectural shift since the advent of 1G. An entire ecosystem of vendors and operators are now urgently looking to harness and validate cloud-native best practices and open source technologies. Executed well, the charter of LFN OVP2 will serve this purpose by promoting, validating, and evolving an entire ecosystem of Cloud Native Network Functions that interoperate and run on the same immutable infrastructure. As such, I believe Marc can leverage his commercial and technology acumen, and commitment to early value creation, to propel and focus OVP2 activities to best serve the community. I therefore nominate Marc Price as Vice Chair for OVP2. | Y
@Rabi Abdel | Vodafone | @Olivier Smith | Rabi is a Network Cloud Principal Architect and Senior Manager for Vodafone Group. He is highly experienced and active across CNTT and LFN projects including serving as vice-chair for the committee since 2018. The charter for OVP2 will require focus and efforts of many and this is where Rabi’s determination, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership can serve the cause. In addition, for OVP2 to be embraced and impact the industry broadly requires strong representation from service providers. In my opinion Rabi will bring invaluable experience and ideal personal qualities to shape and evolve OVP2. I therefore nominate Rabi for the position of OVP Cloud Native Sub-committee Chairman. | Y
