Review expected outcomes

  • Lincoln/Rabi met to articulate the expected outcomes for each of the workstreams on the wiki: OVP 2.0 Workstreams

  • WS02 - capturing the existing requirements will only be partial - will need a repository for the requirements

  • WS07 - is WS02 the superset of requirements OR only for validation?

    • WS02 should be superset

  • WS07 - reviewed the on-going POCs that are on-going

    • Containerized Firewall - a full CNF qualification test of the workflow

    • CNF ETSI alignment

    • Extend orchestration to multi-cluster K8s

    • Cloud Native Security

    • Distributed app orchestration

  • Need a feedback loop from the actual practice of testing to the requirements

    • WS07 container Firewall feedback to requirements as CNF testing occurs

WS02 results review (Material: OVP 2.0 - WS02 Initial Assessment and Suggestions - 2020-04-09.pdf)

  • Initial focus

    • Top level identifying clear relationships between all the requirements/tests/conformance specs in different communities

    • Establish/promote best practices for cross-project alignment

    • Identifying potential gaps/concerns

  • Initial assessment

    • Establish "source of truth" between requirements, tests, and conformance

    • Streamline and clarify testing categories (specific requirements for badges (must requirements) and nice-to-have requirements)

    • Clarify the role of ONAP and CNFs in the OVP 2.0 MVP

    • Bring clarity to requirements and testing results

Next meeting

  • Continue review of the requirements

  • Review of the different communities and tests
