Walter and Nick chose interesting attire. Walk on item: Time zone change in US November 1. The meetings going forward will be 1 hour earlier in the US.

Meld updates: Settled on the name Anuket, marketing is working hard. Joint meeting between the TSC and Gov teams for 2 hours today. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Field trials: Things are still happening, but Meld is primary focus.

Technical Conference: Some feedback has come back already. Attendance has remained steady overall, with good number of self reported as new participants. Need a Anuket 101 session for the next meeting. Need to create some on-boarding materials for Anuket. Walter clarified that we need a combination of some basics – what is a reference model, the structure of the project, etc. – and the mechanics of Anuket – GIthub, project components, wiki, teams, workstreams, etc.

GSMA report for Walter: Meetings of the committees mid-November. Walter reports there will be outcomes and decisions coming out of the meetings. OPG white paper and Edge Cloud WP on commercial principals will be published soon.

Issue of burnout from too many overlapping virtual conferences. Risks of participation falloff due to over commitment of the people in the community.

Marketing is getting folded into the Meld efforts – Bob and Heather are the editors

Cross community – TIP compliance is staying in TIP. OVP phase 2 completed. Will be more information to be picked up in 2021.
