Topic Overview

Hardware Acceleration resources can be used to achieve requirements or improve cost/performance. In this session we'll discuss current status and what could be next. Goal: Agree RM and RA topics, target content for next release and teams that will contribute it.

Question from Arkady Kanevsky : Is this an attempt to create a common interfaces and/or common flavors/labels? 

Answer from Petar: In RM text we wrote about standardized APIs. For K8s, the label discovers the device in K8s, but there is no agreement on generic labels categories. Which is a gap that could be discussed in CNCF TUG.

Gergely: From testing perspective, we still need to define the interface between infra and workload.

Ildiko requested that OpenStack is considered as well.
